About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ mixed, non-faith secondary school in Birmingham . The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4, and KS5 , delivering an engaging and challenging curriculum that develops students’ problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and confidence in numeracy. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across KS3–KS5
• Motivate and inspire students to develop strong mathematical fluency and analytical thinking
• Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
• Contribute to the development of an innovative and ambitious Maths curriculum
• Support enrichment activities, including Maths challenges, clubs, and university outreach programmes
• Maintain high expectations of student achievement and behaviour

This Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ mixed, non-faith academy has approximately 1,350 students on roll, including a vibrant sixth form of around 300 students . The school has an exceptional academic record, with 74% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths at GCSE and a Progress 8 score well above the national average . At A-Level, over 60% of students achieve A –B grades *, with Mathematics being one of the most popular and successful subjects, regularly sending students on to Russell Group universities .

About You
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• QTS (PGCE or equivalent) with the ability to teach KS3–KS5
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and student achievement
• Legal right to work in the UK
