Healthcare Solicitor
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivatedAssociate with expertise in Clinical Negligence to join its Healthcare Team to represent Defendants, primarily acting for Private Insurers. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence cases, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.
The Role
- Manage a diverse caseload of high-value defendant clinical negligence claims from inception to resolution
- Provide expert legal advice to insurer clients
- Draft, review and negotiate key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements and correspondence
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategy
- Liaise with clients, medical professionals and expert witnesses
- Attend court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Healthcare Team
- Identify and support business development opportunities
- Deliver excellent client care at all times
About You
- Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence
- Essential: Experience handling complex defendant clinical negligence cases for insurer clients
- Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems
- Professional, organised and detail-oriented approach
