Our client, a well–established and growing facilities management business, is looking for a Commercial Financial Controller to lead financial operations, provide strategic insight to senior stakeholders, and drive commercial performance across the organisation. Location: Birmingham Position: Commercial Financial Controller Full–Time Salary: GBP80,000 to GBP90,000 per annum + benefits

Key responsibilities of the Commercial Financial Controller:

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision–making.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the business.
• Drive profitability through detailed analysis of performance, margins, and cost control.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting to improve business visibility and decision–making.
• Manage and develop a high–performing finance team.
• Support business growth through financial modelling and commercial evaluation of new opportunities.
• Ensure strong financial controls and governance are in place across the organisation.
• Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key essentials of the Commercial Financial Controller:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in a fast–paced environment
• Proven stakeholder management and business partnering skills
