Monarch Education are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Erdington to recruit a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a full-time role starting in September. This is a long-term position with strong potential to become permanent, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to secure a long-term placement.

The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school where you can make a real impact. You will deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and encouraging creativity in a positive learning environment. You will take full classroom responsibility including planning, assessment, and behaviour management, while contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking department.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and creative lesson delivery
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire learners
  • Confident classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Organised, proactive, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
