PPA Cover Teacher – Key Stage 2
Location: Birmingham, B16
Contract: Term-time / PPA Cover
Pay: In line with the national teacher pay scale

As a Key Stage 2 PPA Cover Teacher , your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering well-planned, engaging lessons across Years 3 to 6
- Maintaining strong classroom routines and positive behaviour
- Supporting pupil progress during class teacher release time
- Working collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
- Upholding the school’s values of respect, ambition, and inclusion
- Ensuring continuity and consistency in teaching and learning
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Be flexible, organised, and confident teaching across multiple year groups
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching that engages and inspires pupils
- Supportive and approachable leadership team
- Friendly, dedicated staff who work collaboratively
- Clear planning structures and strong curriculum guidance
- A positive, community-centred school environment
