Business Development Manager – Commercial Insurance
Salary: £70,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Location: Regional UK (flexible base, regular travel required)
You’ll be responsible for leading broker engagement across key regional areas, developing and executing relationship strategies that support the wider business’s growth ambitions. The role requires someone who is confident managing a blend of new business generation and key account development, with a particular focus on property and casualty risks. You’ll collaborate closely with internal leadership teams to deliver effective, value-driven solutions to clients. Face-to-face interaction will be a big part of this role – you’ll regularly be on the road, attending broker meetings, industry events, and working alongside your colleagues in regional hubs. The successful candidate will bring experience from the UK commercial insurance market and be a confident communicator that enjoys developing partnerships and representing the business externally. A proactive, self-sufficient approach will be important, as will the ability to think strategically, spot opportunities, and collaborate as part of a broader regional team.
