Group Tax Manager (In-House)
My client, an instantly recognisable international group, is hiring a Tax Manager to join their prestigious in-house tax function. This is a newly created opportunity, reporting directly into the Head of Tax and will play a key role in the tax management across the group.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns in accordance with relevant regulations and deadlines
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with new requirements
• Work closely with external advisors to optimise the corporate tax position of the company
• Lead the VAT compliance process, ensuring accurate and timely submission across multiple jurisdictions
• Manage one direct report with ensuring accurate data is provided
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise overall tax position
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions
• Prepare and review tax provisions for financial statements
Requirements:
• ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified preferred
• Experience in a mixed tax role covering both corporate and VAT compliance
• Experience within a multinational or Big 4 accounting firm is desirable
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax and VAT regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
