Location: Birmingham head office 5 days per week - managing brands from all over the country and beyond!
Salary: £30-32,000

The Opportunity:
If you are a highly commercially astute, creative individual with a flare for developing relationships then this could be the perfect role for you. Using your pre existing relationship building skills, ability to listen to feedback and confidence to liaise and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders you will be responsible for working with both the company's brand partners and the direct field sales team, taking their feedback, goals and aspirations and then turning them into meaningful strategies that will result in increased distribution for both the parties.
You will be the trusted go between both the brands that the business represents, and your colleagues in the sales team, working on securing agreements to implement various promotional activities such as securing consumer & retailer discounts, in store activation etc...anything that you feel will support in driving volume based on feedback from the direct sales team, the consumer or the brand themselves.
You will also be required to monitor any promotional activities in the field, review performance, report back to both external and internal stakeholders and working together to tweak and develop the strategy based on what you find from constant observation.
This is a fantastic role for someone who has either a B2B or B2C background, who is looking to get into a role away from direct sales & looking to take on a more strategic and creative role where you can take an analytical approach to developing stronger relationships with the company's key brand partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong, consultative relationships with both brand partners and internal stakeholders within the field based sales team, to understand their business needs & the needs of the retailer partners and consumers and create strategies that work for everyone.
- Review data and insight to develop strategic plans
- Provide brand partners with market insight, data and knowledge to embed yourself as an irreplaceable partner and support promotional plans.
- Review and monitor performance of on-going promotional activities and reporting back to senior stakeholders within the business.
About You:
- You must have some form commercials sales, customer service or marketing experience where you have had exposure to speaking with customers directly.
- Either a B2B or B2C background.
- Confident communication, exceptional relationship building skills and ability to persuade and overcome objections
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
- Organised, IT literate, and confident working with data and systems.
- Based in Birmingham and able to travel to the office 5 days per week.
