Warehouse Cleaner

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners to work at a large distribution site, based in Coleshill, B46.

Job Purpose

To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic warehouse environment by carrying out routine cleaning tasks and supporting general housekeeping duties to meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and clean warehouse floors, aisles, and work areas
• Remove waste, debris, and packaging materials from designated areas
• Clean and sanitise equipment, surfaces, and communal areas (e.g., break rooms, toilets)
• Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials
• Report hazards, spills, or maintenance issues to supervisors
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly
• Support general warehouse housekeeping to maintain an organised environment

Key Skills and Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Physical fitness (role may involve lifting, bending, and standing for long periods)
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Previous cleaning or warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)

Working Conditions

• Based in a warehouse environment (may be cold, dusty, or noisy)
• May involve shift work, including evenings, weekends, or early mornings
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required
• Health & Safety or COSHH training is an advantage

Shifts

• Sunday - Thursday 2pm-10pm
• Tuesday - Saturday 10pm-6am

Salary

£12.71 per hour for the PM shift or £13.71 per hour for the Night Shift
