Maths Teacher
Maths Supply Teacher (QTS Required) – Job Description
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience desirable.
- Follow school schemes of work and lesson plans, adapting where necessary to meet students' needs.
- Maintain continuity of learning during staff absence.
- Assess student understanding and provide feedback where required.
- Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and implement the school's behaviour policy consistently.
- Create a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and school leaders.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom environments.
- Complete registers, handovers, and any required lesson feedback for the school.
- Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures and report concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve their potential
