What you will do:

* Provide direct support to children in care, including building relationships and promoting emotional wellbeing.

* Support the implementation of care plans and placement plans, ensuring children's needs are met.

* Supervise and facilitate family contact sessions, ensuring safe and positive interactions.

* Assist with life skills development, including education, routines, and independence skills.

* Work collaboratively with social workers, carers, schools, and partner agencies to support care planning.

Qualifications:

* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent or willingness to work towards

* Evidence of continued professional development

Registration and Compliance:

* Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as the Children Act 1989, Care Planning, Placement and Case Review Regulations, and Safeguarding Children procedures

* Enhanced DBS clearance is essential
