A large, well-established secondary school in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a meticulous and personable HR Administrator to join its central operations team from January 2026 . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who thrives in a structured, fast-paced school environment.
About the Role
You will provide comprehensive administrative support across the HR function, ensuring smooth processes from recruitment to onboarding and ongoing staff support. You’ll work closely with the HR Manager and senior leaders to uphold safeguarding and compliance standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating recruitment administration, including adverts, shortlisting packs and interview logistics
Processing pre-employment checks (DBS, references, right to work)
Maintaining personnel files and HR databases with absolute accuracy
Supporting absence tracking, return-to-work documentation and CPD records
Assisting with induction documentation and staff queries
