I’m looking for a skilled home-based tailor to handle a few wardrobe alterations. The items include adjusting hems on trousers, taking in a couple of dresses at the waist, and repairing a zipper on a coat. Ideally, the tailor can visit my home in the afternoon and bring basic sewing supplies. I’d appreciate clear communication about timelines, fabric care requirements, and any materials I should provide (thread, zippers, lining). Comfort with delicate fabrics like silk and wool is a plus.
