Assistant Accountant

Main Duties:
As Assistant Accountant, your main duties include:
- Prepare and process accruals and prepayments in line with reporting deadlines
- Post journals as part of the month-end close process
- Produce daily cash flow reports to support management decision-making
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment allocation, and customer account management
- Perform credit control duties to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize overdue debt
- Conduct daily cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Reconcile sales and purchase ledgers as part of ongoing ledger maintenance
- Carry out regular bank reconciliations to support financial accuracy
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure integrity of financial statements
- Support a variety of other month-end tasks to ensure a smooth and timely close
