Attendance Officer | Birmingham | Large Secondary School
We are working with a prominent secondary school in Birmingham seeking a persistent and empathetic Attendance Officer. This is a full-time, permanent role starting ASAP, essential for ensuring every student reaches their highest potential through consistent school engagement.
The Role
Monitoring: Track daily attendance and punctuality data with total precision, identifying patterns of persistent absence.
Intervention: Conduct home visits and meet with parents to identify and resolve barriers to school attendance.
Safeguarding: Act as a key link between the school and external agencies to ensure the welfare of vulnerable learners.
Reporting: Provide detailed technical support to the Senior Leadership Team by producing impact reports and attendance statistics.
