English Teacher - Dudley - January 2026
A large, well-respected 11–18 secondary school in Dudley is seeking a passionate Teacher of English to join its thriving English faculty from January 2026 .
The school serves a diverse, ambitious community and has a Good Ofsted rating with several elements noted as “highly effective” , including behaviour, teaching quality, and leadership visibility. The English department is a genuine strength of the school, with consistently strong GCSE results and an increasingly popular A-Level programme.
The Role
You will teach English across KS3–KS5 , contributing to curriculum development, enrichment, and whole-school literacy. The department values a balanced approach: structured, well-sequenced lessons combined with creativity, discussion and purposeful reading routines.
You’ll join a friendly, collaborative team that meets weekly to share resources, moderate assessments and embed consistent routines.
