Application Manager
Management of the application portfolio, including ongoing fitness-for-purpose reviews.
Oversee 3rd line application support.
Work closely with the service management team.
Deliver demonstrable value for public money.
Ensure applications align with needs and industry standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement upgrades and resolve issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for application processes and workflows.
Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with vendors to manage contracts and service agreements.
Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements.
Support the wider technology team in delivering strategic initiatives.
Report directly to the IT Operations Director to support them within the project.Profile A successful Application Manager should have: Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management processes and a background in apps.
Deep application and service management experience.
Familiarity with technology systems and software implementation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
Experience with public-sector projects would be preferred, but not mandatory.Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £46,000 to £54,595 per annum.
Hybrid working pattern of 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
