Hours: Monday to Friday & Day to Day available
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join mainstream primary schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This role is perfect for newly qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), as well as those currently completing their degree with QTS and due to graduate in July 2026—you can apply today to have an initial conversation about starting in September.
As an ECT, you will receive structured support and mentoring throughout your induction year, helping you to develop your classroom practice, confidence, and professional skills. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The Ideal Candidate

Holds or is about to receive Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching in primary schools

Confident planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum

Caring, patient, and adaptable to pupils’ needs

Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn
*
Open to mentoring and professional development during the induction year
Job Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or completing degree with QTS due to graduate July 2026

Fluent English is essential

Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Must have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check
