History Teacher — Outstanding Secondary School in Birmingham

An outstanding secondary school serving a diverse inner-city community in Birmingham is seeking a part-time History Teacher to join its Humanities department. You will teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Edexcel), with a curriculum that includes the study of migration, empire, and the local history of Birmingham itself. The role includes contributing to ongoing curriculum development within the Humanities department, as well as supporting enrichment visits to local museums and heritage sites that connect classroom learning to the city's history. You will also be expected to maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to department planning meetings.

Requirements

• Degree in History and QTS

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3-4 History
