School Receptionist - Birmingham
Our client is seeking a friendly and professional School Receptionist to become a valued member of a welcoming Birmingham school. This is a busy, front-facing role ideal for an organised individual who enjoys working in a school setting and creating a warm, positive first impression.
Key Responsibilities
· Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external professionals
· Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor sign-in procedures
· Supporting safeguarding procedures, including visitor checks and ID protocols
· Providing administrative support to the school office and senior staff
· Supporting day-to-day school operations in a calm and professional manner
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
· Previous experience in a school-based reception or administrative role
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organisational abilities with close attention to detail
· Confidence using office systems and IT, including email, databases, and Microsoft Office
· A calm and professional approach, particularly in a busy school environment
· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required (or willingness to obtain one).
