Job Description:

  • Capitax is a growing accountancy firm providing accounting, tax, payroll, and bookkeeping services to a wide range of businesses and individuals. The team works closely with clients to provide practical support and advice across their day-to-day financial needs.
  • Capitax is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to gain valuable experience within a professional office environment while building skills that can lead to a successful career in accountancy, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, or client management.
  • What you'll do
    • Opening, sorting, and recording incoming post and distributing it to the relevant person.
    • Preparing, recording, and franking outgoing post.
    • Filing and organising paperwork to keep records up to date and easy to access.
    • Retrieving files and documents for the Director and other team members when needed.
    • Photocopying, scanning, printing, and preparing documents.
    • Making tea and coffee for staff and visitors when required.
    • Providing general administrative support to help the office run smoothly.
    • Assisting colleagues with day-to-day tasks and learning new skills as part of the role.

Training and support:

  • Full training and support will be provided throughout the role. Capitax is committed to helping employees develop their skills and gain experience within a professional office environment.
  • There may be opportunities to progress into areas such as Client Management, Bookkeeping, Accountancy, Tax, or Payroll. Not all roles require academic qualifications, and Capitax is willing to provide in-house training and support for the right candidate.
