RG SETSQUARE IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH A SOCIAL HOUSING CONTRACTOR SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED PLASTER MULTI

Job title: Plaster Multi
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £34000 per annum
Monday to Friday
8am-4:30pm.

Benefits: Company van and fuel card provided
23 days + Bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
* Plastering Works: Carry out all aspects of plastering including skimming, bonding, patch repairs, and full room re-skims across social housing properties.
* Void Properties: Complete plastering works in void properties to ensure they are returned to a lettable standard efficiently.
* Multi-Trade Duties: Undertake additional basic trade tasks such as minor carpentry, making good, and preparation works where required.
* Repairs & Maintenance: Respond to general plastering repairs within occupied and void properties.
* Surface Preparation: Prepare walls and ceilings including hacking off, bonding, and making surfaces ready for finishing.
* Quality Standards: Ensure all plastering work is completed to a high standard with a smooth and professional finish.
* Health & Safety: Follow all company health and safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at all times.
* Teamwork: Work alongside other trades and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule.

As a Plaster Multi, you will play a key role in the maintenance and refurbishment of social housing properties. The Plaster Multi will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes across a range of homes, ensuring all works are completed to a professional standard. This Plaster Multi role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a multi-skilled approach to repairs and maintenance.

Key Requirements:
* Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Plaster Multi or in a similar role within social housing or property maintenance is preferred.
* Trade Skills: Strong plastering skills including skimming, bonding, and patch repairs.
* Multi-Skilled: Ability to carry out basic multi-trade tasks alongside plastering works.
* Full UK Driving License: Must have a valid driving license.
* Practical Skills: Strong hands-on ability with excellent attention to detail.
* Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and tenants.
* Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
* Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Health & Safety Awareness: Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
