Rent & Service Charge Administrator
You’ll be working as part of a small, collaborative team during a busy and critical period, helping to coordinate processes, manage queries, and ensure a high standard of service delivery. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with data, problem-solving, and supporting both customers and internal teams. The Rent Setting & Service Charge Admin role is ideal for someone looking to develop their expertise within a specialist area of housing.
We’d love to hear from anyone with a background as a Rent Officer, Service Charge Officer, Income Officer, Finance Officer, or Housing Administrator, or experience within housing, finance, or customer service environments—especially if you’re looking to develop your expertise within rent setting and service charges. This Rent Setting & Service Charge Admin opportunity is perfect for candidates who want to build on existing experience and take the next step in their career. As a Rent Setting & Service Charge Admin, you will be:
• Managing a high volume of rent and service charge queries via email and phone
• Coordinating responses to tenant queries and complaints with internal teams
• Using Excel and Power BI to calculate accurate service charges
• Supporting with mail merges and tenant communications
• Providing guidance and support to managers and colleagues I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
• Experience working with rents and service charges within social housing
• Strong Excel skills, including functions such as XLOOKUP
• Experience handling customer queries both in writing and over the phone
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume workload
• Confidence using a range of IT systems, including Microsoft Office Key requirements for this Rent Setting & Service Charge Admin role:
• Working knowledge of legislation relating to rents and service charges
• Strong data handling and analytical skills
