Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

About Us

We are a well-established distributor of metal and plastic products, supplying a wide range of materials to customers across various industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team based in South Birmingham.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of metal and plastic products. You will work as part of a busy warehouse team, helping to maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment.
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
• Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventory control.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
• Assisting with cutting, measuring, or processing materials where required (training provided).
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK Driving License
