• Pay: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role
A secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will support students in developing scientific knowledge, practical skills, and confidence as they prepare for GCSE Science, ensuring strong progress across mixed-ability groups.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering across the three sciences
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to improving pupil outcomes and engagement
