CNC Miller
Mazco Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established engineering company based in Birmingham, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality gearboxes and hydraulic components. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled team. The Role: As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming XYZ milling machines using ProtoTRAK controls. You will be working on precision components, including gear cutting and gearbox-related parts, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Set, operate, and programme XYZ CNC milling machines using ProtoTRAK
- Manufacture components for gearboxes, gear cutting, and hydraulic systems
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure all work meets tight tolerances and quality standards
- Carry out basic inspection using measuring equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller
- Strong knowledge of XYZ machines and ProtoTRAK programming
- Experience working with gearbox components, gears, or hydraulics (highly desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Competitive salary between £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
