SEND Consultant-Warm desk-Birmingham
This is a position for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Development) recruitment consultant who will be joining an established teacher supply agency in the West Midlands
The role has come about due to an internal promotion. There is a warm established desk (50 – 70 days a week) to take over covering Birmingham schools and SEND units.
The role is a full 360° where you would be responsible for your recruitment. You will use a modern CRM system to help you organise your days and automatically put candidates through to compliance. To help you run your desk there is a team of 8 resourcers and administrators, you will be assigned your own administrator allowing you more time to focus on your clients and candidates.
Salary and commission are very transparent and easy to understand. Promotion and career development are based purely on financial desk growth allowing those that put in the effort and dedication to reap the rewards.
The commission is one of the most competitive in the market. There are zero thresholds to hit to activate commission so you are paid on every teacher you supply, this starts at 10% and increases up to 20% of all billings.
This is a company that has positively changed its business model to reflect the changes that came with COVID. There are many flexible options available for working from home meaning consultants can work 2 days in the office, 2 days working from home, and 1 day in the field on client visits, candidate registrations, etc. There is scope and flexibility should people want more or less time in an office environment.
As a growing privately owned company you will enjoy many of the benefits of a corporate agency along with the flexibility a privately owned company can offer This agency has a family feel to them with very low staff turnover as people are happy to work there, currently they are sitting at just over 100 employees across several locations in the UK.
Working hours are
7.30 – 4.30 during term time
9.00 – 12.30 or 12.00 – 4.30 During the School holidays
This is a fun company to work for that reward its staff well not just financially but with annual awards, weekly
updates and newsletters, termly incentive winning prizes, vouchers, holidays, etc
You will be entitled to 40 days of annual leave plus 7 emergency hours to be used at any time. Up to 10 days during term time
holiday can also be used so you are not tied into only taking annual leave when it’s the school holidays as during that time the cost of going abroad goes up dramatically.
The basic salary for this position is £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on what level you join at) realistic OTE is £52,000 – £82,000 (depending on what level you join at)
Salary banding, commission, and OTE are black-and-white, straightforward, and achievable (more detailed information can be provided on the understanding of confidentiality)
You will inherit a very warm desk which is on 50 – 70 days a week, you will earn commission on this desk from your first day of taking ownership.
This would be an ideal position for somebody that is already working as an education consultant and wants a far more rewarding place to work. It’s a place that offers autonomy to run your desk and people are treated like adults and trusted to do what they feel is a priority to run their desks, with no silly KPIs or high targets to try and hit.
All inquiries are dealt with complete confidentiality and discretion.
