Accounts Clerk
I'm working with a market-leading business to recruit a Financial Controller with strong Sales & Purchase Ledger experience. This is a hands-on role with added responsibility around reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily bank reconciliations (Excel-based)
- Processing customer receipts & supplier payments
- Managing sales & purchase ledger
- Matching transactions across systems
- Preparing customer/supplier statements
- Checking expenses & calculating commissions
- Supporting internal finance queries
- Ensuring VAT, payroll, pensions etc. are paid on time
- Supporting monthly & quarterly reporting
- Analysing P&L variances and profitability
What You'll Need
- Proven finance experience (ledger essential)
- Strong Excel skills (non-negotiable)
- High attention to detail & ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems (preferred)
- Proactive, hands-on approach
