Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
This role sits within the RICS Hub and plays an important part in supporting members through clear, timely and helpful communication across a range of channels. You will respond to enquiries, resolve issues wherever possible and work with colleagues across the organisation to deliver a consistent, high quality service.

Key responsibilities
- Respond to member enquiries in a timely, accurate and professional way across channels including phone, email and live chat
- Take ownership of enquiries through to resolution wherever possible
- Work with colleagues across RICS to resolve queries and provide clear updates to members
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems in line with process and data requirements
- Provide a high standard of service while meeting team targets and quality expectations
- Share feedback and insight to help improve processes, communication and the member experience
This role is based in our Birmingham office at Colmore Row. We operate a hybrid working model, with 60% of your time spent in the office.
About You
You will have experience in a customer service or support role and feel confident handling a varied range of enquiries. We are looking for someone who is organised, calm under pressure and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
If you enjoy helping people, communicating clearly and taking ownership of your work, this could be a great next step. You are likely to bring:
- Experience in customer service, membership support or a similar role
- Clear communication skills and a helpful, professional approach
Comfortable using a range of systems and digital tools
- Confidence handling enquiries across different channels and systems
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A team focused mindset and a genuine commitment to providing a positive member experience
