Need electrical work and device wiring help for small project
Hi there, I’m looking for a reliable handyman with basic electrical experience to help with a small electrical task at my home. The job involves installing a new light fixture in the living room, replacing a faulty outlet, and tidying up some loose wires in a safe, compliant way. I don’t need a full rewiring, just a couple of practical tasks that require basic electrical knowledge. Safety is important, so please confirm you are comfortable working around live wires and can switch off power at the breaker as needed. I’d prefer someone who can bring a few common tools and has experience with UK electrical standards. If you can provide a rough estimate of time and any material costs, that would be great. I’m aiming to get this done within one day and would like to schedule in the late morning if possible.
