We're working with a well-established Water Hygiene and Legionella Compliance company that has built an excellent reputation within the industry. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they're looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer to support their expanding Birmingham operation.

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering Water Hygiene compliance services across a portfolio of commercial, industrial and public sector sites across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Typical duties will include:

Temperature monitoring

*

Water sampling

*

Cold water storage tank inspections

*

Tank cleaning and disinfection

*

TMV servicing and maintenance

*

Showerhead cleaning and disinfection

*

Calorifier inspections and blowdowns

*

Flushing of little-used outlets

*

Closed system monitoring

*

Identifying compliance issues and reporting findings

*

Completing electronic reports and site documentation

What We're Looking For

*

Previous experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

*

Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines

*

Experience carrying out a range of Water Hygiene compliance duties

*

Strong communication and customer-facing skills

*

Good attention to detail

*

Full UK driving licence
