Associate Mechanical Engineer
Associate Mechanical Engineer – Data Centres Location: Offices based throughout the UK available for Hybrid or Fully Remote Salary: £90,000–£115,000 + bonus + benefits If you’re operating at a senior leadership level within Mechanical Building Services and want to play a key role in shaping projects, teams, and client relationships within the Data Centre market, this is a fantastic opportunity. We’re working with a growing consultancy delivering major mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe, and they’re looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to support continued growth within the sector. You’ll have real input into projects, team development, and client strategy, within a business that values flexibility and progression. What you’ll be doing You’ll lead mechanical design delivery across large-scale Data Centre projects while acting as a senior point of contact for clients and internal teams. Alongside project delivery, you’ll support resource planning, mentor engineers across multiple levels, contribute to business growth, and help maintain high technical standards across projects. Key requirements Extensive experience within mechanical building services design Strong Data Centre or mission-critical project background Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and engineering teams Comfortable managing client relationships and project delivery Strong understanding of UK and international design standards Experience using relevant design software including Revit and IES Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar Chartered Engineer status preferredWhat’s on offer Salary between £90,000–£115,000 depending on experience Bonus up to 20% Remote working available Variety of UK office options for Hybrid working Pension contribution Monthly healthcare allowance 25 days holiday + bank holidays 37.5 hour working week 9 day working fortnight available Annual progression and salary reviews Chartership support and professional development Exposure to major international Data Centre projectsIf you’d like to find out more, apply now and I’ll happily talk you through the projects, leadership structure, and future growth plans in more detail.
