The Role
The school seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join its thriving Social Sciences Department from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach Psychology at A Level, working with bright, motivated pupils who take great pride in their studies.
You will:
- Deliver engaging, academically rigorous lessons that promote independent thinking and curiosity.
- Inspire pupils to explore key psychological theories and research methods.
- Prepare students effectively for public examinations, maintaining excellent academic outcomes.
- Contribute to departmental development and enrichment activities such as clubs, lectures, or study trips.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).
- Possess a strong academic background in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate the ability to inspire confidence, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity in pupils.
- Have experience teaching A Level Psychology, or a clear aptitude for sixth form teaching.
- Be committed to supporting the school’s ethos and contributing to its co-curricular life.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
