Psychology & Sociology Teacher – Rigorous and inclusive comprehensive school – Birmingham
Our client is looking for an ambitious teacher of Psychology & Sociology to join a rigorous and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham. This is a full‑time, permanent role starting January 2026.

This is an outstanding chance for a teacher who is passionate about human behaviour, social systems, identity, research methods, and societal issues. You will teach across KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A‑Level) Psychology and Sociology, developing students’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to engage with empirical data. The school encourages embedding of current research, current affairs, and debate, alongside strong pastoral support. Both experienced teachers and those new to A‑Level but with relevant subject knowledge are welcome.

Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Psychology & Sociology Teacher with QTS or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in both Psychology and Sociology, including research methods
• Experience teaching at GCSE and ideally A‑Level; interest in delivering enriched, discussion‑based learning
• Legal right to work in the UK
