Drivers Mate - Nights
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Overtime: Time and a half after 39 hours per week
Hours: Night shifts, start times between 9:00pm and midnight
Shift Length: Typically 8-10 hours per shift
Contract: Full Time / Ongoing Opportunities Available The Role We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Drivers Mates to join our growing night operations team. Working alongside experienced drivers, you will assist with multi-drop deliveries, helping to safely unload and deliver goods using cages and roll cages (trolleys) to customer locations. This is a physically active role that requires excellent teamwork, a positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently during night shifts. Key Responsibilities
Assisting drivers with the loading and unloading of cages and trolleys.
Supporting multi-drop deliveries to customer premises.
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.
Helping to manoeuvre cages and goods into delivery points.
Carrying out duties in line with company health and safety procedures.
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
Working closely with drivers and transport teams to ensure smooth operations.Working Hours
Night shifts with start times between 9:00pm and midnight.
Typical shift lengths of 8-10 hours.
Shifts will include Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, therefore applicants must be flexible and willing to work weekends.About You We are looking for candidates who: Are reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Are comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding work.
Can work efficiently during night shifts.
Have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Are flexible and available to work weekends.A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential. There is potential for successful candidates to progress into van driving duties following completion of a successful probation period.
