Looking for 1-on-1 Philosophy Tutor for UK student
I’m seeking a patient and engaging philosophy tutor for weekly sessions with my college-age child. We’d like help with critical thinking, reading and discussing key texts, and preparing for seminars. Our preferred schedule is afternoons after 4 PM or weekend slots, ideally 1.5 to 2 hours per session. The tutor should be comfortable explaining complex ideas clearly, provide structured summaries, and offer practice essay prompts. Availability for at least 8 weeks is preferred, with flexibility for academic topics such as ethics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind. Remote lessons via video are fine if they’re reliable, but in-person in London would be ideal.
