Catering Assistant - Part Time | Birmingham
A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Birmingham is seeking a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join its kitchen team on a permanent part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in helping provide healthy, high-quality meals for children each day.
The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the school kitchen and help maintain a safe, clean, and positive dining environment for pupils and staff.

The Role
Assisting with food preparation and serving meals
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch periods
Following food safety and health & safety procedures
Helping create a positive dining experience for pupils
Requirements
Applicants should:
Be reliable, organised, and hardworking
Work well as part of a team
Have good communication skills
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
Salary
£24,413 – £24,795 FTE (Pro Rata, Term Time Only)
