Real Estate Associate Solicitor | NQ - 1 PQE | International Law Firm | Birmingham/Hybrid - open to 2026 qualifiers! BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a leading international law firm seeking to recruit a junior Real Estate Associate (NQ - 1 PQE) into its well-established Birmingham team, focusing on corporate support, asset management and occupier work. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to join a high-performing, collaborative team with strong client exposure from day one. The Opportunity You will join a busy and supportive real estate team, working closely with Partners and senior lawyers while also taking ownership of your own matters. The role offers a broad mix of asset management and occupier work, acting for a range of investor and corporate clients. Your role will include:

• Managing a variety of landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, surrenders, re-gears, and new lettings
• Advising on licences, wayleaves, and landlord and tenant works
• Supporting investors with ongoing asset management across their portfolios
• Assisting with freehold acquisitions and disposals where required
• Supporting on large-scale acquisitions and financing transactions as part of wider team projects
• Working with occupier clients, including those in the telecoms sector
• Building strong relationships with clients, agents, and internal stakeholders

You'll be part of a team that prides itself on delivering pragmatic, commercial advice and maintaining long-standing client relationships. About You We're looking for someone who is:

• Newly Qualified to 1 year PQE, with experience in commercial real estate
• Ideally experienced in landlord and tenant work, or with strong transactional exposure during training
• A confident communicator, comfortable dealing directly with clients and property professionals
• Commercially aware, with a practical and solutions-focused approach
• Well organised, with strong time management and attention to detail
• Keen to develop client relationships and understand the commercial drivers behind transactions
• Motivated to contribute to a high-performing and collaborative team environment
