Junior Brand Manager
Brief Overview
If the hair & beauty industry is your thing, this Junior Brand Manager role is one not to be missed.
Working with a leading wholesaler within a defined marketing team, this is your opportunity to work with a portfolio of existing suppliers and global brands. It is a fully office based role (sorry no negotiation on this) but offers fabulous opportunities for someone who has a genuine love for this sector.
The role:
Ultimately, this role will play a key role in achieving & sustaining brands sales and business growth, and you will work with the commercial team to create and implement industry leading trade marketing brand strategy and programme. You’ll produce strategic, effective and impactful integrated brand campaigns and manage the P&L by analysing sales engagement reports to give you insights to improve brand performance.
You’ll work with a number of brands and you’ll act as their brand guardian, taking responsibility for what your brands stand for and how they are presented to external audiences encompassing all communication channels across print, digital and social, and you’ll work with the commercial team to prepare and execute the commercial program, the trade marketing plan and communication strategy.
You’ll create monthly e-newsletters for your key brands and will create digital and social campaigns to drive awareness and customer engagement as well as providing ongoing content for company websites, intranet and blogs. Additionally you’ll work with internal colleagues to plan brand presence at exhibitions, conferences, roadshows, and training seminars.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who already has experience within a brand marketing environment, may be around 2 years, and somewhere you’ve been involved with brand development, introducing new products and also all-encompassing brand campaigns, especially across social media.
This role is primarily B2B as our client is a wholesaler but an appreciation of the beauty industry will be really useful, or an interest in working within the sector.
You’ll have experience of developing brand strategy, even at a junior level as well as research and analysis.
What’s on Offer?
Salary for the role is up to £35,000 and this is a brilliant opportunity to work with some fantastic, household name brands and develop them for the wholesale market. The role is office based, 5 days per week, based just outside Birmingham city centre with lots of free parking.
