A well-established and growing freight forwarding business is looking to recruit a Freight Forwarding Pricing Specialist to join its Birmingham team. This is a key commercial role, supporting pricing across multimodal movements with a strong focus on ocean freight.

The Role:
You will be responsible for developing competitive pricing solutions across ocean, road, and air freight services, working closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to support new business and maximise profitability.

Source and negotiate rates across ocean, road, and air freight providers
Build accurate, competitive quotations tailored to customer requirements
Follow up on pricing to improve conversion and win rates
Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
Maintain strong relationships with carriers, partners, and customers
Support the commercial team with pricing insight and solutionsWhat We're Looking For:

Experience within freight forwarding pricing (multimodal preferred, ocean essential)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Commercial awareness with a proactive and solution-focused approach
