Finance Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Central Finance Team and provide key support to the Trust.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Being the first port of call for all incoming enquiries, verbal and in writing, and responding to these where appropriate or escalating as necessary

• Inputting standing information to the Trust’s finance system (supplies debtors) in accordance with procedures

• Processing purchase orders from requisitions accurately and in accordance with agreed authorisation, timescales and procedures

Knowledge of IRIS financials and procurement, purchase ledger experience, and a background in finance education would be desirable.

This post could be term-time only plus two weeks or an all-year-round post. The Finance Team is based at Smith’s Wood Academy, with one day a week (Wednesday) working from home.
