About the Role

As Teacher of Philosophy & Ethics , you will teach across KS3–KS5 (depending on curriculum offer), delivering well-structured lessons that develop pupils’ critical thinking, ethical reasoning and academic writing.

Your teaching will support pupils to:

  • Build secure knowledge of key philosophical ideas, religious and non-religious worldviews

  • Develop confident ethical reasoning, evaluating arguments with clarity and precision

  • Strengthen oracy through purposeful discussion, debate and structured questioning

  • Write well-supported, high-level extended responses using evidence and clear argument

  • Prepare effectively for GCSE and A-Level through modelling, deliberate practice and precise feedback

Pupils explore questions about morality, meaning, justice, human rights and belief, learning how to evaluate competing viewpoints respectfully and intelligently.
