Metasys BAS Controls & Commissioning Specialist

What you will do

Johnson Controls is looking for a Metasys Controls & Commissioning Specialist to support Microsoft’s global portfolio of data centres and campuses .
In this global role, you’ll shape how controls and commissioning are delivered worldwide — setting standards, supporting regional teams, and solving complex technical challenges on high‑profile sites.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning global standards , collaborating across regions, and being the go‑to expert for Metasys commissioning.

How you will do it

• Develop, maintain, and improve global Metasys controls standards, including SOOs/DOOs, point lists, and programming templates.

• Create and govern commissioning documentation such as FPTs, checklists, and commissioning plans.

• Provide global commissioning support, including advanced troubleshooting and on‑site assistance when required.

• Review engineering and commissioning packages to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment across regions.

• Work closely with Microsoft engineering teams, Johnson Controls delivery teams, and global stakeholders.

What we look for

Required

• Strong hands‑on experience with Building Automation System such as Johnson Controls Metasys (SNE/SNC, NAE/NCE, SCT, CCT, ADX).

• Solid background in HVAC controls engineering, BAS programming, and commissioning.

• Experience developing technical standards, frameworks, or commissioning documentation.

• Clear communication skills and confidence working with global, cross‑regional teams.

Preferred

• Metasys certifications (MSEA / MSEAS).

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Automation) or equivalent practical experience.

• Data centre experience (10+ years preferred but not required).

• Familiarity with BACnet.
