About the Role

As Teacher of Religious Education , you will teach across KS3–KS5 , delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that build deep subject knowledge, thoughtful discussion and strong analytical writing.

You will deliver lessons that:

  • Develop secure understanding of key religious beliefs, practices and traditions

  • Encourage ethical reasoning and philosophical enquiry through structured discussion and debate

  • Build confident analytical writing through modelling, scaffolding and purposeful feedback

  • Support pupils in engaging with moral, social and contemporary issues in a thoughtful way

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level through strong exam technique, clear routines and high expectations

There is scope to contribute to enrichment such as debate societies, ethics clubs, lecture programmes, trips or wider cross-curricular initiatives that support spiritual, moral and cultural understanding.
