About the Role
As Teacher of Religious Education , you will teach across KS3–KS5 , delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that build deep subject knowledge, thoughtful discussion and strong analytical writing.
You will deliver lessons that:
Develop secure understanding of key religious beliefs, practices and traditions
Encourage ethical reasoning and philosophical enquiry through structured discussion and debate
Build confident analytical writing through modelling, scaffolding and purposeful feedback
Support pupils in engaging with moral, social and contemporary issues in a thoughtful way
Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level through strong exam technique, clear routines and high expectations
There is scope to contribute to enrichment such as debate societies, ethics clubs, lecture programmes, trips or wider cross-curricular initiatives that support spiritual, moral and cultural understanding.
