- Pay Scale: MPS £32,900 - UPS £51,000
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Permanent (Long Term Futures)
- Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher looking to take on a rewarding Year 5 class?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Northfield (B31). We are seeking a committed Year 5 Class Teacher to join their supportive team and deliver high-quality teaching within Key Stage 2.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SLT, and parents to support pupil outcomes
What the School is Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with induction completed
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5)
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach
- Passion for raising attainment and supporting all learners
