Corporate Tax Manager Birmingham (Hybrid)
Circa £45,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading UK accountancy & advisory group who are continuing to expand their Tax function in Birmingham , and are now looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager .

This firm supports the SME market with a full service offering including Audit, Accounts & Advisory, Tax, Payroll, Corporate Finance and Business Recovery . As a Corporate Tax Manager , you will take responsibility for a portfolio of corporate tax clients, overseeing compliance delivery while also gaining exposure to a varied range of advisory work including tax planning and transactions support.
Role Responsibilities

• Reviewing Corporation Tax Returns and computations for a varied client portfolio
• Ensuring corporate tax compliance deadlines are met and returns are submitted on time
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact for ongoing queries
• Handling HMRC correspondence and third-party liaison as required
• Supporting Partners/Directors with corporate tax planning and advisory delivery
• Involvement in advisory work including succession planning, MBOs, share schemes and R&D tax relief
• Managing WIP and billing on a portfolio, ensuring strong recovery and timely fee raising
• Attending meetings with prospective clients and supporting business development activity

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong corporate tax compliance experience gained in UK Accountancy Practice
• Confident client-facing communicator with a commercial approach
• Motivated, resilient and keen to take on new technical challenges
• Able to support and develop junior team members
