Junior Creative Artworker
Ranked #1 fastest-growing private company in The Sunday Times 100 2022, AYBL has quickly become one of the most iconic women’s activewear brands worldwide.
We are a passionate, innovative and ambitious brand on a mission to empower women through the power of fitness. Based in the UK, we are dedicated to providing premium, yet affordable activewear that encompasses our ‘Together we thrive’ ethos.
We’re constantly on the lookout for new people who are equally ambitious, share our core values and consider themselves the best in their field. If this sounds like you and you’ve got what it takes to help push AYBL to the next level, this could be the place for you.
The opportunities right now are limitless. We are looking to hire genuine people who demonstrate authenticity and a unique way of thinking.
As we grow, you’ll grow too.
AYBL is seeking a skilled Junior Creative Artworker to produce high-quality artwork, illustrations, and graphics for both apparel and digital content. This is a creative role that requires strong conceptual thinking and a keen eye for detail.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Mid-Weight Artworker and collaborate with internal teams—including Women's Wear, Men's Wear Design, and Brand—to ensure all creative assets are original, on-brand, and fully production-ready.
Junior Creative Artworker Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality illustrations and graphics for apparel items such as t-shirts, hoodies, and more.
- Design original graphics, patterns, and prints for upcoming collections.
- Develop distinctive brand assets, including original logos that reflect AYBL’s identity.
- Rework and refresh high-performing past designs by updating visuals or layouts, offering customers new options for their favorite products while maintaining brand consistency and appeal.
- Continuously research and analyse emerging styles, industry trends, and consumer preferences to inform and inspire creative direction. Proactively generate fresh design concepts with a focus on realism, innovation, and brand relevance, ensuring the creative output remains ahead of the curve and aligned with market demands.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in illustration software, including Procreate and Adobe Illustrator.
- Consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and adapting to changing requirements.
- Apply strong knowledge of print techniques to ensure all designs are technically sound, production-ready, free from potential production issues, and without any limitations in terms of execution.
- Ensure all creative work aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members, including brief allocation and first-stage design approvals.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure creative alignment across departments.
- Support the wider brand team by contributing to cross-functional projects.
- Respond efficiently to ad hoc design requests from managers, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
- When needed, roll out approved design concepts across various platforms (e.g., brand, marketing), adapting base designs into multiple formats to ensure consistency and brand alignment.

- A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a similar role
- A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
