An inclusive two-form entry community school, who work together to create a caring, vibrant environment in which every pupil can thrive are seeking to appoint an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a long-term post commencing Summer 2, 1st June 2026 32.5 hours per week, term time only Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching across the school
  • Personal care (when needed)
  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including EHCP identified needs
  • Work with individuals and small groups to deliver targeted learning and intervention programmes
  • Assist the Class Teacher in the preparing and adapting learning activities
  • Be an integral part of the support team
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusion, support pupil’s social and emotional development
  • Deliver personal care, where required, in line with school policies
You Will Have:
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Understanding of the standards expected for Teaching Assistants and undertake any training relevant to the position
  • Proven experience of working with pupils with SEN in a primary school setting and have good knowledge of a range of SEN
  • Experience of working with primary aged children Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupils’ wellbeing
