Science Teacher - Birmingham
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher beginning your teaching career? A thriving and high-performing school in Birmingham is seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their dedicated Science faculty from January 2026 . About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent teaching post. You will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3–KS4, assess student progress, plan creative schemes of work, and take part in wider departmental initiatives. You will receive structured ECT mentoring and ongoing support throughout your induction period.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a degree in a Science-related subject
• Holds QTS/PGCE or is completing ECT training
• Can deliver Science confidently to KS3–KS4
• Is enthusiastic, reflective and committed to improving classroom practice
• Works effectively with a supportive and collaborative Science team
