A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to take the lead of a well-established commercial property department within a respected and long-standing property consultancy and chartered surveying practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious commercial property professional who is looking to take ownership of an established portfolio while driving future growth and development of the department.
The successful candidate will inherit a commercial management portfolio of approximately 100 properties, supported by experienced systems and administrative processes already in place, providing an excellent platform for further expansion.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on management role combining commercial property management with business development and departmental leadership.
You will be responsible for:
• Managing a substantial portfolio of commercial properties
• Handling lease administration and lease renewals
• Conducting and negotiating rent reviews
• Managing commercial sales and lettings instructions
• Building and maintaining strong landlord and tenant relationships
• Coordinating property inspections and site visits
• Overseeing maintenance and contractor management
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
• Managing tenant enquiries and resolving property-related issues
• Driving growth of the managed portfolio and commercial agency business
• Leading and developing the commercial department

The Ideal Candidate
Our client is looking to speak with experienced commercial property professionals who possess:
✔ Previous commercial property management experience
✔ Strong knowledge of commercial leases, rent reviews and lease negotiations
✔ Experience within commercial sales and lettings
✔ Excellent client relationship and communication skills
✔ Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
✔ Commercial awareness and business development capability
✔ A proactive and professional approach
✔ Full UK driving licence
Professional qualifications such as MRICS (or working towards), IRPM, or relevant property-related degrees would be advantageous but are not essential.
